Volunteer Highlight
May was a wonderful month filled
with community connection, teamwork, and meaningful moments. One of the highlights
was our Mother’s Day event, where ECA teamed up with an amazing group of student
volunteers from Sir Winston Churchill High School to create a warm and memorable
celebration for mothers in our community.
From planning and decorating
to organizing activities and supporting guests during the event, the students brought
incredible creativity, energy, and teamwork. It was inspiring to work side by side
with the youth, sharing ideas, learning from one another, and creating something
special together for the community.
We would also like to thank
all the volunteers who joined us for our first weed pulling session of the season.
Your time and effort helped keep Edgemont beautiful, welcoming, and cared for. These
small acts of kindness truly make a big difference in creating a community we can
all be proud of.
As summer approaches, we are
excited for many more weed pulling days, family activities, community events, and
fun programs happening throughout the season. With more events coming up, we will
definitely need more helping hands to keep everything running smoothly and successfully.
If you would like to get involved,
meet new people, and make a positive contribution to the community, we would love
to have you join the ECA Volunteer Team! Email [email protected] and sign
up to be included in our volunteer mailing list and stay updated on upcoming opportunities
throughout the summer.
