June with the MLCA
As June arrives, we can all enjoy longer
days, blooming landscapes, and more time outdoors. As we enjoy these perks of
the season, here are a few reminders to help ensure our community stays safe,
respectful, and connected.
Enjoying Our Open Spaces and Parks
Please remember to be courteous to others
and keep our spaces clean by disposing of waste properly. If you happen to be
walking your dog in an open green space or park, please ensure that you pick up
after your pet. Let’s remember that these are shared spaces meant for the
enjoyment of all residents.
Pet Etiquette and Leash Bylaws
We love our four-legged residents! As a
reminder:

Calgary is an on-leash city,
which means dogs must be leashed unless they are on their own property or in a
designated off-leash area marked by signs. This contributes to a safer, more
enjoyable community for everyone.

If you have questions about
pet-related concerns or bylaws, please contact City of Calgary Bylaw or 3-1-1.

As noted above – please pick up
after your pets. Waste bins are available throughout the community.
