Tree Removal and Pruning
City crews were busy trimming the 75-year-old Elm trees
lining the alley by the Community Hall in September. The next day, students
from Glendale Elementary popped over for an outdoor class examining the growth
rings on the two dead trees that had been removed. Timber!
Annual General Meeting
Tank you to everyone who dropped into our AGM in September,
including Ward 6 Councillor John Pantazopoulos. It was a pleasure to meet some
new faces and catch up with some familiar ones too.
Lindsay Sali (previously Vice President) was voted President
for the 2026-27 year. Myles Trawick has ended a two-year term as President but
will remain as a Board Member in the role of Past President, Member-at-Large. A
huge thank you to Myles for his countless hours devoted to the Glendale
community and for leading the Board with patience, encouragement, and
reliability.
