Volunteers Needed for Our Participation in the Lilac
Festival

The Lilac Festival this year is on Sunday, June 7. Cliff
Bungalow – Mission Community Association was instrumental in getting Lilac
Festival started in 1990. It is now a large event attracting upwards to 100,000
people.
Cliff Bungalow – Mission Community Association needs volunteers
to help at the community booth at this year’s Lilac Festival:
Set up our table and popup tent at 8:00 am (near Seoul Fried
Chicken)
To be at our table during the festival
Minimum of two people per two-hour shift (10:00 am to 6:00 pm).
First shift needs to be there at least 15 minutes prior to 10:00 am. There is
some overlap of shifts for transition.
We will have information on the community association including
activities, will sell memberships and will sell our award-winning history book
and our community T-Shirts.
At 6:00 pm help take down our tent and table contents and
transport to the community centre. This is very important. Many hands make this
easy.
