Southwood Calgary experienced 13 crimes in November 2024, in comparison to 10 crimes the previous month, and 27 crimes in November one year ago. The Southwood community has an average of 10.1 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Southwood had a total of 121 crimes as of November 2024, which is down 54% in comparison to 263 crimes as of November 2023. Total Southwood community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.
Southwood Calgary had 4 break and enter (B&E) crimes in November, in comparison to 0 B&E crimes in October and 4 B&E crimes in November 2023. On an annual basis, Southwood had a total of 5 B&E crimes as of November 2024, which is down from 12 B&E crimes as of November 2023.
