Acadia Crime Activity was up in June 2026

Acadia Calgary experienced 22 crimes in June 2026, in comparison to 18 crimes the previous month, and 19 crimes in June one year ago. The Acadia community has an average of 14.5 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Acadia had a total of 174 crimes as of June 2026, which is up 7% in comparison to 162 crimes as of June 2025. Total Acadia community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

Acadia Calgary had 4 break and enter (B&E) crimes in June, in comparison to 6 B&E crimes in May and 2 B&E crimes in June 2025. On an annual basis, Acadia had a total of 34 B&E crimes as of June 2026, which is down from 47 B&E crimes as of June 2025.

Acadia had 16 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in June 2026, in comparison to 8 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 11 vehicle related crimes in June 2025. On an annual basis, Acadia had a total of 80 vehicle related crimes as of June 2026, which is up in comparison to 51 vehicle related crimes as of June 2025.

What Else Can I Do To Secure My Home and Property? The Calgary Police Service encourages Calgarians to establish a 9 PM Secure Your Home and Property Routine before heading to bed. The routine recommends: Removing valuables from vehicles | Ensuring vehicles are locked, windows are closed and if possible, parked in a garage | Closing garage doors and windows | Locking any person-doors in the garage, including those leading into a house | Checking that all house doors – front, back, side and garage – are locked | Ensuring all windows are shut | Turning on an exterior light.
