Dear Kincora Residents,
Thank you to those who attended our KCA
Annual General Meeting. Your continued support and engagement with KCA are part
of the reason why we are tirelessly making Kincora a better place to live. All
incumbent board members were successfully re-elected to continue serving
Kincora in the upcoming year. We were also delighted to receive recognition of
our tireless dedication to improving our local community from Court Ellingson,
our MLA for Calgary Foothills.
While AGM turnout was lower than we had
hoped, we’re still eager to hear your thoughts on how KCA can make our events
more accessible and engaging. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with your
suggestions.
Also, a big thank you to Bow Tie Pizza
(Sage Hill) for sponsoring our delicious pizza for the social night—the pizza
was a big hit and didn’t last long!
Open Board Positions
Currently, we are still looking for
passionate Kincora residents to join our KCA board.
Critically, we are looking for a new
Secretary (who keeps the board organized and records meeting notes) and
Director of Communication (who manages our newsletter, emails, and social
media). If you’re interested in helping guide our community’s future, let’s get
in touch.
Event Updates
Symons Valley United Church is hosting
Kincora Neighbour Day on June 20—another great opportunity to connect with your
neighbours!
Also, our annual Stampede Breakfast is fast
approaching on July 12. This event typically attracts 500+ attendees from
Kincora and surrounding communities. If you are a local business owner and
would like to set up a stall to promote your business or become a sponsor,
please contact [email protected] for details.
