Howdy Rosemontians!
We are once again partnering with
our great friends in Cambrian to do a Community Cleanup event on Sunday June 28
from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. This is your opportunity to go through your house and
find items that need to be recycled or disposed of without needing to go to the
landfill. This event only works because of great volunteers like you, so please
consider donating a few hours of your time. Please email Bent Nielsen at [email protected]
for details. It is a lot of fun hanging out with some neighbours and enjoying a
great day. Details on what items are accepted can be found at RosemontYYC.com.
We will be hosting our annual
Stampede Breakfast on July 4. If you are interested in helping us make this
another great event, please email us at [email protected]. More hands make
for light work, and it is a ton of fun. More details on the start time will be
on sandwich board signs in the community, as well as in email blasts. If you
don’t receive our email blasts, please sign up at RosemontYYC.com. We typically
send one or two a month and they include information you may not be aware of,
including the specific times of the Stampede Breakfast and other great things.
We also have all Rosemont
development permits listed on our website at RosemontYYC.com/Permits. You can
click on each row to get details for each permit submitted in the last two years.
And if you are interested in
keeping an ear to the ground on what is happening in City Council, Councillor
Kelly has a very robust weekly newsletter that you may want to sign up for. It
includes items that council is voting on and other things related to Ward 4.
Visit djkelly.ca for more information.
As always, keep looking after
family, your neighbours, and yourselves.
Matthew
