Dear West Hillhurst Community,
June has arrived, and with it comes longer
days, warmer weather, and the perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy
everything our community has to offer. After a long winter and a slow start to
spring, it’s refreshing to see neighbours out walking, kids playing in the
parks, and families reconnecting in our shared spaces.
We’re especially excited for our Kick Off
to Summer event on June 20 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm. This is a great chance to
come together as a community, enjoy some fun activities, and celebrate the
start of the season. We hope to see many familiar faces and new ones, joining
us for an afternoon of summertime fun!
Wishing all the dads, stepdads,
grandfathers, and father figures in our community a wonderful day. A few dad
jokes to help celebrate:
Why did the dad bring a ladder to the
barbecue? Because he heard the steaks were high. What did the dad say after
putting the car in reverse?“Ah, this takes me back.”
