New Life
April is always an
exciting month at preschool—it’s when our duck eggs arrive! This special
tradition is something we all look forward to each year. The children (and
adults!) eagerly watched and waited as the days passed, counting down to hatch
day.
After about 28
days, the big moment finally came—the eggs began to crack, and soon we welcomed
our adorable ducklings! Each class chose a name for their duck, and we loved
watching them grow and change during their time with us. A highlight for
everyone was helping the ducklings learn to swim!
Our ducks have now
returned to the farm, where they’ll enjoy a peaceful life. Thank you to the
parents who helped organize this wonderful experience and ensured everything
ran smoothly.
We’re also happy
to welcome back soccer with Triple Meg this month! Each class will participate
in four sessions with Coach Steve and his team. These sessions are always a
favourite, and it’s amazing to see how quickly the children build their skills.
