Community Cleanup
Your 2026 community cleanup is
coming!
Save the date: Sunday July 12,
2026, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm sharp.
Do you have stuff in your basement
(that’s been there a while)? Do you have a garage filled to the rafters (that’s
time has come)? Are you moving or downsizing (with stuff the kids don’t want)?
Well, we have a date for you! The Annual City of Calgary and Mahogany Community
Association Cleanup event is all set for July 12, 2026. We’re at a new location
this year! In the parking lot at Mahogany School, 165 Mahogany Blvd SE. Check
out the city website for other dates and locations as everyone’s event is open
to all Calgarians at https://www.calgary.ca/waste/drop-off/community-cleanups.html.
Our event will have following:

Cerebral
Palsy Alberta: They are accepting any clothing, shoes, linens, small household
items, kitchen wares, books, and games.
·
Habitat
Restore: They are accepting any tools, gently used furniture, appliances,
usable building materials, cabinets, doors, and windows.
·
Quantum
Lifecycle Electronics Recycling: They are accepting anything with a cord or a
battery, computers, printers, scanners, fax machines, TVs, telecom devices, and
all types of batteries.
·
Junk
Kings: They will be accepting all bikes, mattresses, and tires.
·
Island
Steel Products: They will have bin on site for any metal recycling like old
filing cabinets, metal siding, pipe, kitchen sinks, washers and dryers, mowers,
and ballasts.
Again, note the new location at
Mahogany School parking lot. Come early to avoid being shut out due to capacity
issues. We’ll have volunteers to help you unload those unwanted treasures. And
