World Cup Watch Parties Coming to Eau
Claire Plaza
The world’s biggest sporting event is
coming downtown! As the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup begins, Eau Claire Plaza will
host free outdoor World Cup Watch Parties where the community can come together
to cheer on Team Canada.
Presented in partnership with Calgary
Downtown Association, Tourism Calgary, Calgary Minor Soccer Association,
Cavalry FC, Calgary Wild FC, and The City of Calgary, these free public events
will feature giant LED screens, family-friendly fan zones, food trucks,
mascots, and youth soccer activities.
Bring your friends, wear your red and
white, and experience the excitement of the World Cup right in the heart of
downtown Calgary.
