Haysboro Hall Happenings
Thank you to everyone who volunteered their
time for our HCA Community Cleanup events. These events take a lot of
coordination and effort to run, and they simply don’t happen without
volunteers. We appreciate everyone who came out and pitched in to help make it
happen for our community.
Neighbour Day
Celebrate Neighbour Day with us at the
Haysboro Picnic in the Park on June 20, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the HCA!
Enjoy an evening of community connection featuring food trucks, an outdoor
concert, and fun activities for kids. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic
blankets and enjoy dinner on the HCA greenspace while connecting with both new
and familiar neighbours. Come celebrate community, friendship, and all the
great things that make Haysboro special!
Annual General Meeting
The HCA Annual General Meeting is happening
on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the HCA Social Lounge —
and we need community members like you to get involved! This is your chance to
help shape the future of Haysboro, connect with neighbours, and bring fresh
ideas to the community. All are welcome to attend. To vote at the AGM, you must
hold a valid HCA membership for at least one month prior to the meeting.
Following the AGM, join the HCA Board for a fun social mixer and community connection.
Programs and Events
Haysboro Racquet Club Kick-off Party
Our Racquetball Courts are now open! If
you’d like to join in and play this summer, HCA members can purchase a Racquet
Club Membership add-on to access and book the courts. Court bookings can be
made online for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 1.5 hours. Let’s work
together to keep the courts clean – please use the court broom to sweep and
dispose of trash in the bins provided. Join us for the Haysboro Courts Kick-off
Party on June 7 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm to celebrate the start of the season.
Haysboro Outdoor Market
Don’t miss out on the final two Haysboro
Outdoor Markets of the season on June 10 and 24 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the
Haysboro Community Centre outdoor green space (1204 89 Avenue SW). Explore an
amazing lineup of local vendors featuring fresh produce, delicious baked goods,
and so much more.
HCA Gardening Committee
Are you passionate about gardening, green
spaces, and helping make our community beautiful? We’re looking for volunteers
to help maintain and enhance Haysboro’s shared green spaces. To get involved,
please email [email protected]. Also, join us on June 7 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm
at the HCA for our Plant Swap and Sale — a fun community event and a great
opportunity to find plants, gardening inspiration, and everything you need for
your garden this season!
Seniors Lunch and Learn
Join us on June 21, 2026, from 11:30 am to
1:30 pm for an engaging session on “Budgeting to Save More”—a practical and
valuable topic to help you make the most of your money. Enjoy a great meal
while learning useful tips and connecting with neighbours in a relaxed,
welcoming setting. Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot online
or by calling the office.
Summer Camps
Summer camp registrations are open for
programs run out of the HCA. Currently, we have Adventures Child Care,
Engineering for Kids, Calgary Sewing School Sewing Camp, Rainbow’s School of
Fairy Magic with The Harp Fairy and Miss Karebear, and Mini Titans Camp—each
bringing a unique and engaging experience for campers. A full list of summer
camps taking place at the HCA is available at haysboro.org/summercamps. Please
note that registration is done directly through each camp provider.
Free Tot Time
Every Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 am in the
HCA Main Hall. Come visit with other parents and caregivers while the kids play
with the room of toys!
Community Mahjong
Every Tuesday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the
HCA Social Lounge.
