Book Club
For June, we will read The Book Club for
Troublesome Women by Marie Bostwick. It is about ambitious women in the 60s
and the mentors who helped them succeed. We will then be off for the summer,
and in September, our book will be The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan
Kamali. Meet us on Wednesday, June 17 at 1:00 pm at the community hall.

Coffee Social
For our May social, Colin Hayles from
Golden Acre led a Q and A about all things gardening. Please join us in June to
socialize and end the season with refreshments and picnic-style lawn games.

Pickleball
Join friends and neighbours at the sport
courts in the community hall rink. Scheduled play is on Mondays, Wednesdays,
and Fridays starting at 9:00 am. Beginners are especially welcome on Fridays,
and will be encouraged with coaching, rule explanation, and equipment provided.
