Mobility Update
As Marda Loop
continues to grow and evolve, mobility and community safety remain important
priorities for residents, businesses, and visitors alike. From safer pedestrian
crossings to traffic calming and accessible pathways, thoughtful planning helps
create a neighbourhood that is welcoming and safe for everyone. The Mobility
and Safety Committee works to identify local concerns, collaborate with the
City of Calgary, and advocate for improvements that support a vibrant and
connected community.
We are currently
looking for volunteers from each of the various areas of Marda Loop
Communities: Altadore, Garrison Woods, Riverpark and South Calgary to join the
committee and help shape the future of mobility and safety in our community.
Whether you are passionate about walkability, traffic safety, accessibility,
transit, cycling, or simply want to contribute to the community, your ideas and
involvement are welcome. Volunteers can participate in discussions, community
engagement, and local initiatives that make a meaningful difference for our
