A Spunky Senior
Provides Tips on Resilient Aging
At the April gathering
of Marda Loop Seniors, Patricia Morgan, Author, Speaker, and Therapist shared her
expertise on resilience in a meaningfully fun, surprisingly insightful, and delightfully
uplifting manner.
While citing her research
into aging well, she recommended alternatives to overcoming inevitable challenges
resulting from vision, hearing loss, and pain. These were her five tips to help
us emerge stronger:
·
Care
for our vintage bodies to happily live longer.
·
Keep
our minds active so that the neurons stay active and connected.
·
Hang
out with younger and older folk to avoid risky social isolation.
·
Feel
grateful so that the days will be filled with blessings.
·
Lighten
Up! We will see our health improve. Smile, laugh, and skip if we can!
