Development and Traffic

I would just like to
highlight what has been happening/going on behind the scenes this past month,
in no particular order:

The first development permit application
is in for the upgrades to Richmond Green Regional Park. Phase 1 will include
the pickleball courts. Unfortunately, the plan does not show the cricket net
beside these courts which has been discussed and agreed upon. We will follow up
on this commitment from the City. We will also continue to pursue the
replacement tennis courts which are to be built in Killarney. The park is
supposed to have amenities added, not removed, as per the engagement around the
partial sale of this regional park.

We have started our Financial Review with
the City in anticipation of the $700,000 repair for our Main Hall. A contractor
has been chosen, and we hope to start construction in June. The anticipated
completion date will be the end of September. We are really hoping to have our
November AGM back in the Hall again!

We are in need of someone to take over our
Treasurer position. Our current treasurer, Lisa, is happy to transition the new
person. This is a critical position on the Board. We do have a bookkeeper and
procedures in place to simplify this role as much as possible. We appreciate
you considering us for this important volunteer position.
