Jane’s Walks
Dates: Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 3, 2026
Location: Throughout the city
Time: Various
Details: Get out and explore the city on a
Jane’s Walk, a free walk that encourages community and conversation. Walks
focus on ecosystems, history, urban planning, hidden gems, and more. Check out

Tri-City Community Cleanup
Signal Hill, Discovery Ridge, and
Springbank Hill Community Associations are once again joining forces to host a
Community Cleanup event this year. More details to be found in this newsletter.
Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Time: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Location: Westside King’s Church – 3939 69
St SW
Details: The City will be providing trucks
to collect garbage going to the landfill. Other recycling vendors may be onsite
to collect metal, electronics, tires, and household donations. We cannot accept
chemicals, contaminated materials, or hazardous items.
Farm Stand – New Location For 2026
Time period: Saturdays from 4:00 to 6:00 pm
starting on May 23, 2026
Vendor: FreshPal Farms
Location: 69 Street C-Train Station – 7085
17 Ave SW
Details: The SBHCA is partnering with the
City of Calgary and Fresh Pal farms to bring farm fresh veggies to our
neighbourhood. Check out the farm stand and bring home seasonal vegetables for
dinner.
